Mostly good experience

My order for a glass water bottle and some silicone food covers came pretty quickly, took 6 days to reach me in California. The water bottle was exactly what I wanted, good quality glass and a sturdy cap. The silicone covers work okay, but they don't get a perfect seal on all my bowls, which was a bit of a letdown. Customer service wasn't needed, everything arrived intact. The packaging was all paper, no plastic anywhere, which was a big plus. Overall, a good experience, just wish the silicone covers fit a bit better.

Good quality, quick delivery

I ordered a set of beeswax wraps and a bamboo cutlery set from Ecovik. The ordering process was smooth, and the website was easy to navigate. My package arrived in about 4 days, which was faster than I expected, considering it came from the UK. Everything was packaged very well, no plastic used at all which I appreciated. The beeswax wraps felt sturdy, not flimsy, and the cutlery set was nicely finished. I've used the wraps for a few weeks now and they're holding up great. Support wasn't needed, but the experience was positive overall.

Decent value on starter kit

I was looking to switch to more eco-friendly items without spending a ton. I snagged one of the zero waste starter kits during a sale. Got a good chunk off the regular price, which made it feel like a solid deal. The items in the kit, like the solid shampoo bar and bamboo toothbrush, seemed well made for what I paid. Happy with the savings and the purchase.

Hey guys, thinking of ordering some stuff from Ecovik. How long does shipping usually take to like, New York?

D Derek 2 months ago

Oh, Ecovik is actually based in the UK. So shipping internationally might take a bit longer. Not sure about US specifically but for Europe it was like a week.

N Noor 2 months ago

Yeah, what they said. It's coming from the UK, so def not next-day Amazon speeds. Give it a good couple of weeks to be safe, especially with customs sometimes.

I'm looking at getting one of their starter kits, but also want some extra beeswax wraps. Can I use a new customer discount AND get a bundle deal?

K Kate J. 2 months ago

Nah, I tried that before. You can usually only use one discount code at checkout. So either the new customer one or a bundle, not both.

M Mike F. 2 months ago

Yeah, coupons don't stack there. So you'll have to pick which discount saves you more money in the end, the bundle price or a percentage off your whole cart.

Anyone know if Ecovik's stuff is actually legit zero-waste? Like, not just the products but the packaging too?

A Amber D. 2 months ago

Yep, it's all plastic-free packaging! They're really good about that, everything came in paper/cardboard for me last time.

T Tom 2 months ago

Can confirm, my order for some wraps and a bamboo toothbrush came totally plastic-free. Felt good about that.

So, if I get a bunch of stuff and it's not quite what I expected, how easy are returns with Ecovik? Is it a hassle?

C Chris 2 months ago

Their return policy is pretty standard, I think. As long as it's unused and within the timeframe, it should be fine. I had to return a bamboo cutlery set once and it was pretty straightforward, just had to pay for my own shipping back.

K Kevin Carter 2 months ago

Returns were easy for me too. Just make sure you check their exact policy on their site, it's all laid out there. But yeah, no weird hoops to jump through.

How are Ecovik's beeswax wraps compared to, say, The Plastic Free Shop? Any noticeable difference in quality or how long they last?

S Sarah L. 3 months ago

I've used both! Ecovik's wraps feel a bit more substantial, almost thicker. They hold their shape really well. Haven't had one wear out yet.

G Gwen Silva 3 months ago

Honestly, they're pretty similar in quality from my experience. Maybe Ecovik has slightly better patterns? But functionally, both are good. Ecovik sometimes has better bundle deals though, worth checking that out.
